You will apply engineering best practices to moderate vacuum and over-pressure applications while supporting the growth and success of our global organization.This position follows a Monday–Friday onsite schedule, with standard office hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.If you are ambitious, customer-focused, and ready to make an impact while growing your career with a global leader, Busch Vacuum Solutions is the perfect place to innovate, learn, and excel.Job ResponsibilitiesEvaluates technical inquires or quotation requests, obtain all necessary required missing informationDesigns proposed vacuum system to meet the customer's requirements, calculating gas flows, pressure drops and heat load requirementsSelects and specify all components that need to be quotedPrepares and keyboard technical equipment specifications of the proposed vacuum system solution as per standard business practicesInterfaces with customer and field personnel, on the phone and in person, providing information on equipment operation, data and drawingsChecks all pump and system orders for accuracy and agreement with the quotationBe the technical point of contact for assigned quotations or projectsProactively ensures all technical matters are addressed in a manner that is in keeping with the customer's or departmental timelineWorks with mathematical concepts such as probability and statisticsReads, analyzes and interprets common scientific and technical, financial and legal documentsApplies engineering concepts, calculates, designs, quotes and specifies vacuum systemsCollaborates with all Engineering department and intra-departmental personnel to ensure final design meets customer requirementsIn conjunction with the Agile teams develop and/or promote technical solutions which support the business requirements within their area of expertise.
