What You Will Do

• Contribute to transformation initiatives such as Digital Test Strategy, AI/ML, Test
• Driven Multidisciplinary Capability, and TestForward to enhance engineering execution
• Collaborate with Discipline leaders, Lead Systems Engineers (LSEs), Test
• Architects (TAs), and Chief Technologists across the Technology Pyramid
• Support system-level analysis, trade studies, modeling efforts, and early concept development tied to technology strategy
• Assist programs with technology deployment, training, and new use case development
• Participate in developing, improving, and deploying enterprise-wide processes, tools, methods, and digital engineering workflows
• Travel as required to support testing, technical reviews, collaboration events, or program activities across engineering sites and facilities

What You Will Learn

• After completion of comprehensive on-the-job training, the candidate will be a part of a team supporting Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities across the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) obtained by start date
• Experience in software development and automation using Python, MATLAB, and related tools to build solutions for system modeling, analysis, and data processing, including applications in AI/ML workflows.

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience collaborating with matrixed technical roles such as discipline leaders,
• Lead Systems Engineers (LSEs), Test Architects (TAs), and Chief Technologists across the Technology Pyramid
• Experience supporting digital transformation activities such as MBSE, AI/ML-enabled workflows, or automated engineering processes
• Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
• This position requires ability to obtain a security clearance. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
