Systems Engineer - Internet IT & Managed Network Services | Full-Time | On-Site

The Staff Pad is proudto partner with a leading provider of property technology solutions in San Felipe,TX and we are looking to hire an experienced and technically skilled Systems Engineer fora new dual-focused on site role.

In this role, you willsupport the company’s Internal IT environment, including offices, end users,network infrastructure, multiple locations and two data centers, while also supporting the Managed Services team in troubleshootinghotel back-office networks for contracted properties.

The company manages internal IT like acustomer account, applying the same ticketing, SLA, and documentation standards used for its clients.

What You’ll Do

KeyResponsibilities

InternalIT and Corporate Infrastructure

• Deliver timely technical support toemployees onsite and remotely across multiple office locations
• Administer Windows Server (ActiveDirectory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP) along with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including accounts, access controls, andpermissions
• Diagnose and resolve issues withworkstations, laptops, printers, VoIP phones, and mobile devices
• Maintain Denver and Houston datacenterinfrastructure, including Hyper-V, backup and replication, firewalls,switching, wireless, VPN, and site-to-site connectivity
• Oversee employee onboarding andoffboarding, IT inventory, and hardware lifecycle tracking
• Perform patch management andpreventative maintenance while supporting hardware refreshes, softwaredeployments, and network upgrades

Managed Services

• Troubleshoot hotel back-officenetworks, including routers, firewalls, switches, access points, VLANs,subnets, DHCP, DNS, and ISP circuits
• Maintain network segmentation betweenguest, back-office, and payment environments according to property and brandstandards
• Resolve connectivity issues acrossPMS, point-of-sale, key card, security camera, and printer systems whilecoordinating with vendors and brand support teams
• Provide remote support to on-sitestaff and field technicians with varying levels of technical expertise
• Meet service-level requirements whilemaintaining accurate ticket updates, time entries, and resolution notes
• Escalate issues to senior engineers,carriers, and third-party vendors while driving them through resolution
• Support new property onboarding bydocumenting network topology, validating configurations, and identifyingrequired remediation

Shared Responsibilities

• Createand maintain documentation, runbooks, network diagrams, and knowledge basearticles for internal and property environments
• Manageincidents and service requests through the ticketing system with clear andtimely documentation
• Coordinatewith vendors, carriers, and third-party providers on technical issues,warranties, and procurement
• Standardizeconfigurations, monitoring, and support processes while recommending long-termsolutions for recurring issues

What WeAre Looking For

Experienceand Certifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT support,systems administration, or network administration
• Experience supporting multi-siteenvironments and remote users across servers, desktops, and network hardware
• Experience with a managed serviceprovider, NOC, or ISP support organization preferred
• Hospitality technology experience,including PMS, POS, or hotel lock systems preferred
• Scripting or automation experiencewith PowerShell, Python, or similar tools preferred
• Relevant certifications such asCompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft, Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE, Aruba, orVMware preferred

Additional Skills and Attributes

• Strong hands-on networktroubleshooting skills, including VLANs, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, routing, NAT,firewall rules, and VPNs
• Strong written and verbalcommunication skills with the ability to explain technical issues tonon-technical users
• Strong attention to ticket management,time tracking, and documentation in a service-level-driven environment
