Duties and Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Systems Management

• Design, implement, maintain, and support Windows server environments and related infrastructure.
• Manage virtualization platforms, storage systems, backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, availability, and security.
• Perform system upgrades, patch management, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Ensure high availability and business continuity of critical systems.

Network Administration

• Manage LAN, WAN, wireless networks, firewalls, switches, and VPN connectivity.
• Troubleshoot network performance issues and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configurations.
• Support multi-site connectivity and remote access solutions.

Production & Print Technology Support

• Support production-related technologies including print management systems, RIP software, production workflows, and manufacturing equipment interfaces.
• Collaborate with production, prepress, and operations teams to optimize system performance and workflow efficiencies.
• Assist in troubleshooting technology issues that impact manufacturing output and production schedules.
• Support integrations between business systems and production equipment.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls and best practices.
• Monitor systems for security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Manage endpoint protection, user access controls, and security audits.
• Participate in incident response activities and remediation efforts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Cloud & Enterprise Applications

• Support Microsoft 365, Azure, and other cloud-based services.
• Manage Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, and related technologies.
• Assist with enterprise software implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Work with vendors and third-party providers to resolve technical issues.

User Support & Collaboration

• Serve as a Tier III escalation resource for complex technical issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to IT staff.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and standards.
• Collaborate with department leaders to identify technology solutions that improve business efficiency.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, network administration, or infrastructure support.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, printing, or production environments preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft server technologies, virtualization, and cloud services.

Qualifications, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Windows Server administration.
• Microsoft 365 and Azure administration.
• Active Directory and Entra ID.
• VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms.
• Network technologies including switching, routing, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Cybersecurity tools and best practices.
• PowerShell scripting and automation preferred.
• SQL database knowledge preferred.
• Experience with ERP, MIS, or print management systems is a plus.

Physical demands:

• Candidate must be able to commute within their metro area and travel in the United States as needed
• PC/Keyboard: Position requires extensive work on computers, using keyboards and viewing monitor
• Sitting: Remaining in the seated position for lengthy periods of time
• Carrying: Transporting an object, usually holding it in the hands or arms, or on the shoulder
• Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
• Feeling: Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture, by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips
• Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to clients or to the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly
• Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds by ear
• Depth Perception: Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are
• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach as needed when supporting equipment and infrastructure.
