PGS Worldwide is seeking a Systems Engineer in Lexington, KY for a 6-month contract role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.
The Systems Engineer will support technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems. This role includes translating customer and product requirements into system solutions while accounting for technical, schedule, and cost constraints. The position requires engineering experience, requirements development experience, and the ability to support system analysis across the full product lifecycle.
Required Skills
• Bachelor’s degree with 6–10 years of relevant experience, or master’s degree with 4–8 years of relevant experience.

• Experience supporting technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation.
• Ability to perform cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses.
• Ability to support analysis across concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal phases.
• Ability to convert customer or product requirements into total systems solutions.
• Ability to work within technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Ability to perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with model-based systems engineering.
• DOORS experience.
• Cameo experience.
• Experience leading projects.
What You’ll Do
• Perform technical planning and systems engineering analysis.
• Support system integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Analyze total system products across the full lifecycle.
• Evaluate cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness factors.
• Translate customer and product requirements into system-level solutions.
• Perform functional analysis and timeline analysis.
• Conduct detailed trade studies.

Pay
• $45.00 - $69.00 per hour
