Our client, a leading innovator in medical technology, is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Electrophysiology Systems Engineering department supporting the development of advanced cardiac mapping and ablation systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: St. Paul, MN

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Pay Range: $55/hr. - $60/hr

What's the Job?

  • Contribute to the technical and business strategy for major system-level programs, understanding the software development lifecycle.
  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot innovative products specific to cardiac mapping and ablation using multidisciplinary engineering knowledge.
  • Provide leadership in system engineering and take ownership of project success from concept to launch.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Clinical Engineering, and Key Opinion Leaders to develop design input requirements based on user and business needs.
  • Communicate project status, technical presentations, and program reviews to senior management and stakeholders.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in complex electrical hardware, software, and signal-processing systems.
  • Proven ability to solve complex engineering problems and mentor other engineers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging at multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards such as 60601 and related electrical hardware regulations.
