PGS Worldwide is seeking a Systems Engineer in Littleton, CO for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and cost/risk/supportability analyses across the total system lifecycle—from concept and design through test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. You will translate customer and product requirements into total system solutions that account for technical, schedule, and cost constraints, while collaborating across hardware and software stakeholders.
Required Skills
BA degree
Active Secret clearance
3+ years of analog circuit design experience (internship experience acceptable)
Systems engineering experience in requirements and verification
Experience performing circuit failure mode analysis
Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation including ICDs, electrical schematics, CAD models, and assembly-level engineering drawings
Visio experience
Willingness to travel (including AL, CO, CA, PA as stated)

What You’ll Do
Perform technical planning, system integration, and verification/validation activities for total systems
Conduct cost and risk analyses, plus supportability and effectiveness analyses across the product lifecycle
Ensure logical and systematic conversion of customer/product requirements into total system solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies
Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Review and interpret system and engineering artifacts (ICDs, schematics, CAD models, drawings) to support requirements and verification activities
