Job Summary:
The Mobile Device Vulnerability Management & Configuration Compliance Engineer will partner with internal stakeholders to design, validate, and operationalize automated mobile device vulnerability scanning and compliance capabilities across enterprise mobile endpoints. This role leads proof-of-technology initiatives, evaluates tools, and drives full-scale implementation while integrating with enterprise security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define PoT scope, success criteria, and test plans for automated mobile vulnerability scanning
  • Evaluate tools for coverage, detection accuracy, scalability, privacy controls, and reporting
  • Execute pilot programs across device populations validating vulnerability detection and compliance
  • Validate integration readiness with MDM, SIEM, ITSM, and CMDB systems
  • Produce PoT deliverables including findings, risk analysis, architecture decisions, and recommendations
  • Collaborate with InfoSec and Compliance teams to align with regulatory requirements (NYDFS)
  • Establish and manage mobile vulnerability lifecycle processes including discovery, assessment, and remediation
  • Develop risk-based prioritization and remediation workflows
  • Coordinate remediation across engineering, mobility, and operations teams
  • Validate remediation effectiveness through re-scanning and compliance verification
  • Develop and maintain baseline mobile security configurations
  • Translate requirements into enforceable policies across mobile platforms
  • Implement compliance monitoring and automated remediation processes
  • Build automation scripts and APIs for data enrichment and normalization
  • Support change management and communications for security controls
  • Provide training and technical guidance to operational teams
Required Experience:
  • 5–8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or endpoint security
  • 2–4+ years of experience in mobile/UEM security, vulnerability management, or compliance engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience with vulnerability management lifecycle and risk prioritization
  • Hands-on experience with mobile security tools and platforms
  • Experience integrating with enterprise systems such as SIEM, SOAR, ITSM, and CMDB
  • Strong scripting and automation experience (PowerShell and/or Python)
  • Experience with identity and access management concepts (MFA, SSO, conditional access)
  • Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams and managing multiple workstreams
Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • Familiarity with regulatory and security frameworks (NIST, CIS, DISA STIG, ISO 27001)
  • Experience presenting PoT results and executive-level recommendations
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise security implementations
  • Strong process improvement and operational excellence mindset
