Provide the government customer information technology (IT) services and technical expertise to support a thoughtful transition from team-level Scrum agile methodology to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The Contractor will support both the operational transition and ongoing development activities, ensuring continuity of delivery while establishing SAFe practices, structures, and governance. Additional information about the SAFe framework can be found at SAFe 6.0 (scaledagileframework.com). In addition, we will assist the government customer with the design, architecture and implementation of a secure application development environment (ADV) specifically engineered to accelerate the organization's SAFe transformation. This environment must integrate automated security controls directly into the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and prioritize developer productivity and autonomy. Furthermore, the ADV must enable Zero Trust architecture that scales across distributed teams without compromising the Lean-Agile mindset. The program will support the following activities: SAFe implementation, software development/enhancement/deployment, O&M, and information & system security.LocationThis position will be on‑site in Winchester, VA.ClearanceTop Secret with ability to get SCI.RequirementsThe Systems Engineer - Mid provides systems engineering and architecture support for planning, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, O&M, and sustainment activities under the program. This role supports network hardware, operating systems, attached devices, cloud and on‑premise platforms, system diagrams, infrastructure integration, system monitoring, patching, configuration management, and technical troubleshooting. The Systems Engineer supports systems and related IMD systems, ensuring architectures remain reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with government standards.
