Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to join our team supporting our nation's defense by discovering your new role supporting this critical mission.Serco supports the Next generation of Wideband Satellite Communication Systems with hands‑on experience testing complex system of systems, Test Automation development, and integration testing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a passionate team providing critical solutions to U.S. Department of Defense communications programs.In this role, you will:Perform software baseline deployment, testing, and troubleshooting in a development/test network environmentIntegrate software into test suites, develop configurations for test events, and troubleshoot systems during these eventsRegularly demonstrate an understanding of test plans, test procedures, test automation, test reports, and execution of integration test activities in System Integration Labs (SILs) or offsite locationsRead error logs and coordinate corrections with the development teamCollaborate with external industry partner teams to resolve issues and support operations and sustainmentPartner significantly with industry and government stakeholder teamsExperience implementing Test automation solutions into Systems of systemsGenerate and present material to support internal and external customer briefingsMaintain familiarity with DevOps processes and Cloud InfrastructureTo be successful in this role, you will have:One of the following:High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 12 years of engineering and/or testing experienceBachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with a minimum of 8 years of engineering and/or testing experienceMaster's degree in a STEM discipline with a minimum of 6 years of engineering and/or testing experiencePhD in a STEM discipline with a minimum of 4 years of engineering and/or testing experienceAn active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearanceA valid U.S. Passport for potential travel outside the continental United StatesProfessional experience with Systems/Software Testing and IntegrationStrong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systemsAbility to collaborate and work independently in a fast‑paced environmentExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailSecurity+ or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employmentThe ability to travel up to 25%. This position needs to be filled with a person that will be in the Orlando area as it will be a hybrid position requiring in office ability.
