SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and safety.As a Systems Engineer, you willTier 3 O&S Coordination: Serves as the primary engineering liaison for Tier 3 Operations and Support, coordinating with vendors, technical stakeholders, and lower-tier support to resolve the most complex, escalated enterprise IT issues.Incident & Problem Management: Leads Tier 3 Problem and Incident Management activities, focusing on minimizing the adverse impact of incidents and problems on the business and preventing reoccurrences of incidents related to these errors.Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Conducts exhaustive Root Cause Analysis on major incidents and chronic systemic issues to identify underlying failure mechanisms rather than just treating symptoms.Reliability Engineering Methods: Actively utilizes traditional Systems Engineering reliability tools and quantitative methods, including Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), to identify single points of failure, assess risk, and implement corrective actions.Reporting & Documentation: Documents findings, workarounds, and permanent solutions in the Knowledge Management system and delivers comprehensive post-incident problem reports to Government stakeholders.WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:BS degree; may be substituted for additional years of experience5+ years of IT/DoD systems administration experienceSecurity Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibilityRequired: Security+ or CASP+ or CCNP Security or CISA or SSCP or other DoD 8140 approved certification.
