PAY RATE: $51.00/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

• Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

• Clearance: Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Qualifying Questions:

• Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

• Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

• Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary: 

• Processes purchase requests and submits them to Supplier Management for procurement.

• Coordinates with Supplier Management for purchase order placement, status, and estimated ship dates.

• Verifies part requirements by reviewing Air Force Technical Order References, parts lists, and drawings.

• Coordinates scrap and part disposals with Government customer and reviews modification drawings to recommend stock levels and dispositions.

• Researches obsolete parts, materials, and tools required to sustain aging aircraft.

• Performs monthly equipment calibration purchase request submittals.

• Generates job orders and performs physical inventory of parts and materials.

• Processes part requests, physical issue of parts to technicians, and part turn-ins for serviceable and unserviceable items.

• Monitors Do-In-From-Maintenance (DIFM) parts for repair status.

• Uses Gold system for managing parts within the Air Force supply chain.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

• Ability to acquire Tinker AFB access.

• Experience in Air Force supply processes (preferred).

• Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Applications.

• Experience with parts management, inventory control, and supply chain processes.

• Experience processing purchase requests and coordinating with supplier management.

• Experience researching obsolete parts and materials for sustainment.

• Preferred: Active security clearance.

• Preferred: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
