This role focuses on the following responsibilities:Support the development of the CONOPS, Design Description Document and Operations Handbook utilizing Model Based Systems Engineering and new web‑based documentation processes in an Agile work environmentCollaborate in the CONOPS Working groups to coordinate a multi‑party integrated solution between our customers, contractors, and industry partnersSupport the development of tools, processes, and procedures to automate the generation, test and configuration management of operational and test command scriptsDevelop innovative tools and methods for interfacing and automating tasks with Cameo MBSE software, GitLab, Jira and other engineering applicationsDevelop new and creative ways to present and visualize engineering data and documentation in a web‑based environmentManage the CONOPS documents through the change control processDefine and decompose the operational, test, and calibration activities from the system to the component levelEnsure the requirements baseline captures all necessary functionsCoordinate with the Test and Command/Control teams to ensure the test scripts and operational software accurately execute system functionsCoordinate with the Flight Software and Database teams to ensure appropriate implementation and coverage of system CONOPSPlease note: This position is contingent upon contract award and/or funding anticipated late Q32026.Basic QualificationsBachelor's or higher degree in an Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related subject area, or equivalent experience3+ years systems engineering architecture experience including CONOPS development, identification of system level constraints, and collaboration with different IPTsExperience with Model Based Systems Engineering, leveraging SysML and MBSE tools (Cameo, Rhapsody, etc.)Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance, thus US Citizenship is requiredDesired Skills3+ years experience with spacecraft or ground system architecture design, development, integration, test, with knowledge of space, missile and launch systems at the component through system levelExperience with mission operationsExperience with a software scripting/programming language (e.g. Python, HTML, Matlab, Visual Basic, C/C++, etc.)Experience with Agile workflows and software (Jira, GitLab)Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team membersDemonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive changePrefer an Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to maintain an investigation completed within the last 5 yearsSecurity Clearance StatementThis position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance LevelTS/SCIPay Range (California, Massachusetts, New York) (excluding major metropolitan areas)Annual base salary range: $89,300 – $157,550.
