As a systems engineer you will perform a variety of assignments including detailed design, engineering analysis and system integration design. A strong candidate will possess a broad knowledge base in multiple engineering disciplines and be able to operate in a fast-paced R&D environment. For more information on the products developed by the Howe & Howe Inc. team, please visit http://www\.howeandhowe\.com/ Responsibilities + Support full-life cycle engineering design and development activities + Lead and/or requirements analysis, systems modeling, trade studies, requirements derivation, design review support, integration planning, test, verification, risk management and engineering analysis tasks. + Develop imaginative, thorough, practicable technical solutions to a wide range of difficult engineering problems. + Serve as a resource to others within the work group, department and the organization. + Conduct liaison activities with sub-contractors and external manufactures as well as internal and external customers at all levels. + Drive tasks to completion independently Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, computer or systems engineering) with two years or more related work experience + Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). + Excellent written and verbal communication skills including preparation of design documentation. + Ability to work accurately and effectively against deadlines and time constraints. + Effective presentation skills. + Familiarity with Cameo/MagicDraw preferred + Basic understanding of vehicle systems is required + Eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance. + Experience in DOD environment is preferred How We Care At Textron Systems, our talented people make us successful.
