Responsibilities:

Arcfield is seeking an analytics-focused Senior Systems Engineer to provide Systems Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) support in the Space Remote Sensing domain.

 

The GREY HAVEN program is responsible for coordinating, integrating, and executing all necessary modeling, simulation, and technical analysis efforts to deliver recommendations and technical assistance in support of the customer mission.

 

The successful candidate will apply their GEOINT and Enterprise Resiliency (EntRes) domain subject matter expertise to engineering analysis efforts that inform recommendations related to the integration of emerging technologies across end-to-end systems engineering, testing, and modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) disciplines.

 

Experience with current GEOINT and EntRes systems and products will be necessary to advise on analysis needs and support customer decision-making.

 

Activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide proactive leadership, identify opportunities, and propose recommendations and solutions to Analysis Office government leadership
  • Support Analysis Office government leadership in cross-organizational forums by providing advisory support as described above and below
  • Support MS&A planning and execution
  • Investigate and advise on forward-looking and follow-on studies, analyses, investments, and other actions needed to enable MS&A road mapping and future planning
  • Support multi-domain and enterprise-level assessments and studies
  • Provide recommendations and technical assistance for Digital Engineering applications of MS&A
  • Support cross-office coordination and integration activities
 
 
 
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • BS 12-15 years, MS 10-13 years, Phd 10+ years
  • Experience working with GEOINT & EntRes systems, sensors, and/or data
  • Excellent communicator, proven experience negotiating consensus across diverse viewpoints
  • Proven leader with experience mentoring a team while delivering individual technical responsibilities
  • Experienced problem solver performing in a dynamic work environment

 Desired:

  • Master’s or PhD degree in technical, computer science, engineering, physics, or related field
  • Professional level certifications in Software Development or Model-Based Systems Engineering
  • 15 years of experience is supporting GEOINT or EntRes systems acquisitions across multiple offices
  • 10 years of experience with scientific/engineering Modeling and Simulation or analytical assessments
  • 5 years of experience with software development or software engineering projects
  • Experience in Image Science (Phenomenology, Sensor technology, Image Processing, Product Quality)
  • Understanding and application of image quality standards, scales, metrics, and image quality equations
  • Applied knowledge of sensor imaging systems, products, and exploitation processes
Equal Pay Act: This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
