The BMS Installer will be responsible to complete small job installation, this position is an entry-level to progress into becoming a System Specialist requiring a commitment to learning on the job as well spend time studying control systems.
- Completes installations of control components following the scope and/or the job submittals.
- Interacts with customers, service technicians, warehouse, and various other staff.
- Makes necessary changes to Controls System as needed or requested.
- Assist in the parts ordering process.
- Conducts extensive self-study (reading, research, and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in the company's product lines. Completes certifications as required by the company.
- Compiles job documentation, such as certificate of completion, customer training form, training certificates, and punch lists.
Requirements
- Vocational School four-year program graduate or an Associates degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or similar field a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in servicing electronic control and HVAC equipment. The ability to coordinate the work of others on multiple job sites is a plus.
- Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner.
- Have the ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have a valid California state motor vehicle license with a safe driving record.
Pay Rate: $25-$28/hr. DOE.
