Systems Installer I (Lighting Controls)

The Systems Installer will be responsible to complete small job installation, this position is an entry-level to progress into becoming a Systems Specialist requiring a commitment to learning on the job as well spend time studying building control systems.

• Completes installations of control components following the scope and/or the job submittals.
• Interacts with customers, service technicians, warehouse, and various other staff.
• Makes necessary changes to Controls System as needed or requested.
• Assist in the parts ordering process.
• Conducts extensive self-study (reading, research, and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in the company's product lines. Completes certifications as required by the company.
• Compiles job documentation, such as certificate of completion, customer training form, training certificates, and punch lists.

Requirements

• Vocational School four-year program graduate or an Associates degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or similar field a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in servicing electronic control and lighting equipment. The ability to coordinate the work of others on multiple job sites is a plus.
• Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner.
• Have the ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid California state motor vehicle license with a safe driving record.

This position will initially be offered as a temporary assignment for approximately three months, with the opportunity to transition to a regular full-time position based on performance, business needs, and mutual fit.

During the initial three-month period, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to become familiar with the role, team, and organization while demonstrating their skills and capabilities. At the conclusion of the temporary assignment, the company will evaluate the opportunity for conversion to regular full-time employment.

Pay Rate: $22-$28/hr. DOE.
