Systems Integration TestEngineer

Client is seeking a System Integration Test Engineer to support the integration, verification, and testing of software-intensive systems within a Hardware-in-the-Loop system integration laboratory. This role will own multiple system capabilities from requirements decomposition through test development, execution, anomaly resolution, failure-mode testing, and test automation.

Core Responsibilities

• Own the integration and testing activities for multiple assigned system capabilities.
• Decompose system requirements and develop test cases that verify each requirement.
• Perform manual system testing within a Hardware-in-the-Loop system integration laboratory.
• Record test results using the designated test log tool.
• Create anomaly reports for defects and issues identified during testing.
• Partner with software engineers to document, troubleshoot, and resolve anomaly reports.
• Develop and execute failure-mode testing for assigned capabilities.
• Support the development and implementation of automated system tests.
• Help the test automation team translate manual test scenarios into automated test coverage.
• Develop and communicate long-term hardware integration strategies.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

• 10+ years of experience integrating and/or testing software-intensive systems within a Hardware-in-the-Loop system integration laboratory.
• 5+ years of experience with one or more tracking and development tools, including JIRA, GitLab, or GitHub.
• 5+ years of experience with Eggplant, Cucumber, or Python.
• 5+ years of experience with Omniview and Mission Planning concepts of operations.
• Experience developing requirements-based system test cases.
• Experience performing system integration, manual testing, failure-mode testing, and anomaly investigation.
• Ability to develop and communicate long-term hardware integration strategies.
• Active Secret clearance with an investigation completed within the last 5 years and Continuous Evaluation enrollment.
• Required special access must be in place before starting.

Work Details

• Full-time onsite role in Fort Worth, Texas.
• 4/10-B work schedule.
• Non-exempt position.
• The role requires access to ECI information.
