TT Electronics’ Olathe, Kansas facility, is an industry-leading designer and manufacturer of custom magnetic products and assemblies. The Olathe-based site has 65 years’ experience in the design and development of unique harsh-environment solutions for mission-critical applications.

Role Overview and Responsibilities:

This position may require access to information, technology, or materials subject to U.S. export control laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Any offer of employment will be contingent upon TT Electronics' review of the candidate's eligibility to access export-controlled information in accordance with applicable law.

 

Introduction

The System Integration & Validation Engineer is responsible for integrating, testing, validating, and troubleshooting power electronics and electrical power systems throughout the product development lifecycle. This position works closely with Engineering, Program Management,Manufacturing,andQualitytoverifysystemperformance,supportqualificationtesting,resolvetechnicalissues,andensureproducts meet customer, regulatory, and military/aerospace requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute system integration, verification, validation, and quality test plans for new and existing product.
• Performfunctional, electrical, environmental, and EMI/EMC testing in accordance with customer, military, and aerospace standards.
• Integrate,troubleshoot, and validatecomplexpower electronics and electrical power systems to ensure performance requirements are achieved.
• Analyze test results, document findings, and provide technical recommendations to support product development and continuous improvement.
• Collaboratewithcross-functional teamstoresolvetechnicalissues,supportdesignverification, and ensuresuccessfulproductimplementation.
• Participateindesignreviews,customertechnicaldiscussions,androotcauseinvestigationstoimprove product reliability and performance.
• Developandmaintainlaboratorytestmethods,equipment, and documentation to support engineering and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
• Maintainasafe laboratory environment and ensure compliance with company safety policies and application regulations.

Desireable Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Threeormoreyearsofexperienceinsystemsintegration, validation, testing, or power electronics.
• Experiencetesting electrical systems to military and aerospace standards.
• Experiencewithpowerelectronics,electricaltroubleshooting,andlaboratoryinstrumentation.
• Aerospace ordefenseindustryexperiencepreferred.
• This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
