Responsibilities:

The Systems Integrator will provide critical support to the customer, operating effectively in a fast-paced environment characterized by shifting priorities. This role involves multitasking, tracking action items, understanding and identifying requirements, and facilitating division-level communications. The Systems Integrator will be integral in ensuring the smooth operation of projects and initiatives, serving as a liaison between technical teams and senior leadership.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Familiarity with resiliency engineering principles and best practices for designing and implementing resilient systems.  This includes understanding how to anticipate, withstand, and recover from disruptions, as well as applying industry standards and methodologies to ensure system resilience.
  • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive management plans and reports.
  • Design and modify briefing packages that include data and information tailored to resonate with senior leadership, ensuring clarity and relevance.
  • Support the facilitation and coordination of action items. This includes identifying, tracking, and monitoring ongoing projects and initiatives.  
  • Coordinate project schedules and capture meeting minutes to ensure follow-through on commitments.
  • Facilitate meetings and information sessions with various stakeholders. This involves preparing the necessary materials, leading discussions when required, and ensuring that all relevant information is communicated effectively.
  • Assist the sponsor in assessing, documenting, and tracking program requirements.  This includes preparing for and following up on technical exchange meetings (TEMs), ensuring all requirements are understood and addressed appropriately.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, concise documents and presentations that can be understood by both technical and non-technical personnel.  This skill is crucial for ensuring information is accessible to all stakeholders.
  • Compose and maintain various correspondence and operational documents, procedures, and internal memoranda.  Ensure all documentation is accurate, up to date, and reflects the current state of projects and initiatives.
  • Work with teams to identify and address roadblocks, propose appropriate courses of action, ensure timely delivery of results.  This involves effective communication and collaboration to overcome challenges.
  • Assist in developing governance processes and procedures.  Administer these processes when appropriate, ensuring they are followed and contribute to the effective management of projects and initiatives.
  • Organize and lead meetings as necessary, ensuring productivity and coverage of required focus topics. Prepare agendas, manage discussions, and ensure follow-up actions are identified and assigned.
  • Represent the senior leadership team in meetings as needed. This requires a deep understanding of the leadership team's positions, priorities, and ability to make decisions or commitments as needed.
  • Ensure projects are properly closed out by documenting lessons learned and finalizing project documentation. This includes confirming deliverables have been met, obtaining final stakeholder approval, and archiving relevant information for future reference.
  • Familiarity with Confluence, Outlook, Skype, Jira, ServiceNow is preferred.
  • The Systems Integrator will manage the lifecycle of projects and initiatives with meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to finalize all aspects of a project, providing a clear endpoint and valuable historical data for future projects.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. 
  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or scientific or technical discipline, or equivalent experience. Equivalent experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
  • Ability to fully coordinate master project schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ability to coordinate information flow occurs between all programs and organizational managers.
  • Ability to establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware and software interface problems, define input/output parameters, and ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem.  
  • Provides a total systems perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements of hardware and software components.
  • Ability to test and evaluate hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems.
  • Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.  
  • Ability to coordinate with engineers, systems analysts, programmers, technicians, scientists, and senior-level managers in the design, testing, and evaluation of systems.
