Overview 

We are seeking a highly organized, technical, and detail-oriented Systems Manager to oversee and optimize our dealership's technology infrastructure. In this role, you will serve as the primary administrator of the company’sr CDK Dealer Management System (DMS), leading our application IT help desk, and managing critical data reporting across all departments. 

The ideal candidate bridges the gap between technical IT solutions and automotive operations, ensuring maximum uptime and data-driven insights for leadership. 

Responsibilities 

1. CDK DMS Administration & Management 

Serve as the primary system administrator and subject matter expert (SME) for the CDK Drive platform. 

Manage user access, security permissions, and employee onboarding/offboarding within CDK. 

Troubleshoot CDK system errors, coordinate with CDK support for high-level technical issues, and oversee system updates. 

Train dealership staff on CDK best practices to improve cross-departmental efficiency. 2. Report Management & Business Intelligence 

Build, maintain, and extract customized reports from CDK and third-party applications. Design and distribute scheduled data reports to executive management and department heads 

Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all generated reports. 

3. Help Desk 

Manage the dealership’s application IT help desk, ensuring employee technical issues are resolved promptly. 

Maintain dealership hardware, including PCs, tablets, barcode scanners, receipt printers, and network peripherals. 

Coordinate with external IT vendors or corporate IT groups. 

Qualifications & Skills 

5–8 years of experience in IT systems management, ideally within an automotive dealership environment. 

DMS Expertise: Hands-on experience with CDK Global (CDK Drive) or comparable applications

Reporting Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel 

Problem Solving: Proven ability to manage a fast-paced help desk environment and prioritize urgent operational issues.
