Job Description: Seeking an experienced Systems Manager to support enterprise systems, security operations, and infrastructure management within a government-supported environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining secure and reliable system operations, supporting networks, servers, hardware, software, user environments, and enterprise applications. This role requires expertise in systems administration, cybersecurity standards, infrastructure support, user access management, troubleshooting, and compliance monitoring. The candidate will also support Microsoft technologies, Active Directory administration, system security monitoring, intrusion detection, hardware setup, network operations, business intelligence tools, and technical support activities while ensuring adherence to enterprise security and compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Systems Manager supporting enterprise systems and operational infrastructure
  • Act as the primary local security officer for system operations and access control activities
  • Troubleshoot daily hardware, software, networking, and user-related technical issues
  • Support servers, networks, printers, peripherals, laptops, and user devices
  • Configure, install, and maintain enterprise hardware and supporting services
  • Manage user setup, access permissions, account configuration, and role assignments
  • Maintain access audits and security compliance processes
  • Monitor enterprise systems and intrusion monitoring tools including Splunk
  • Support imaging systems, correspondence systems, business intelligence applications, and print services
  • Ensure compliance with security frameworks including FISMA, NISTCSF, and CISA standards
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and federal support teams regarding operational requirements
  • Educate users on security standards, system procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Provide ongoing infrastructure and operational support across enterprise systems


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support hybrid and onsite infrastructure-related operations as needed
  • Assist with Systems Access Management (SAMs) and DCPS administration activities
  • Maintain Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy configurations
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and OneNote
  • Utilize PowerShell scripting and SCCM for system administration tasks
  • Prepare technical documentation and operational support materials
  • Assist with operational improvements, security enhancements, and technical initiatives


Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of FISMA, NISTCSF, and CISA security standards
  • Experience in systems administration, network support, and infrastructure operations
  • Strong hardware and software troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy administration
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 tools including Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Experience using PowerShell scripting for administration activities
  • Experience with SCCM administration and device management
  • Experience managing user access, permissions, and account provisioning
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and SQL queries
  • Experience monitoring enterprise systems using Splunk or intrusion monitoring tools
  • Strong communication, technical support, and problem-solving skills


Qualifications:

  • Strong troubleshooting and systems support capabilities required
  • Experience supporting enterprise government systems preferred
  • Experience with systems security, compliance standards, and infrastructure support preferred
  • Ability to work onsite during training periods required
  • Local Maine candidates preferred
  • Strong technical communication and collaboration skills required


Certifications:

    • COMPTIA A%2B Certification preferred
