Overview

This role supports the development of advanced sensing, electronic systems, and decision-support technologies for complex environments. Areas of focus include signal processing, system modeling, algorithm development, and analysis of next-generation sensing and countermeasure systems.

Key activities include concept development, systems analysis and architecture, algorithm design, hardware prototyping, and experimental testing with data analysis.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will have a broad background in sensor system analysis and signal processing. This individual will work across both small and large teams and should be comfortable contributing collaboratively while also taking initiative independently. The role supports technical staff in developing and implementing new capabilities and innovations.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in systems analysis and/or data analysis
• Exposure to several of the following areas:
  • Sensor systems engineering
  • Radar data analysis
  • Autonomy and machine learning
  • Statistical data analysis
• Ability to evaluate new techniques and algorithms and assess their impact on system performance
• Proficiency with MATLAB
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work both independently and in team environments
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to present technical results clearly

Preferred Skills

• Experience with radar systems analysis
• Programming experience with C/C++ and familiarity with Linux environments
• Experience with Python
• Willingness to support field experiments and data collection (up to ~5% travel)
• Master’s degree preferred

Additional Information

• Clearance: Active Secret clearance required
• Work Location: Hybrid schedule (approximately 3 days onsite per week within commuting distance of the facility)
• Interview Process: Initial screening with hiring manager followed by a technical panel interview

Qualifications & Experience

Must Have

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years of experience in modeling, simulation, or data analysis
• 3+ years of experience performing trade studies
• 3+ years of experience with radar or IR sensor modeling
• 3+ years of experience with MATLAB
