About this role:
Client is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer to provide end-to-end support and optimization of enterprise storage infrastructure, ensuring high availability, efficient operations, and rapid resolution of complex issues across file and object storage environments.

In this role, you will:

• Participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
• Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
• Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Participate in an on-call rotation, along with occasional weekend support.
• Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
• Work to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
• Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Support enterprise storage infrastructure operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability across file and object storage platforms
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex storage and infrastructure issues, collaborating with vendors and cross-functional teams to drive timely resolution
• Improve operational efficiency through automation, performance tuning, and reduction of manual intervention across storage environments
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize systems while participating in on-call support, ensuring adherence to technical standards, controls, and service level commitments

Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
