Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a Systems Security Engineer
to join their team!
This role focuses on security monitoring, incident response, threat detection, data protection, and security engineering within a complex enterprise environment.
Position Details:-
Schedule: 4:00 PM12:30 AM PT

Work Arrangement: Remote/Hybrid; onsite as needed

Locations: You must live in Southern California, Northern California, Texas, or Washington, DC
Responsibilities:-
Monitor, configure, and respond to security alerts across multiple platforms.

Analyze and correlate DLP, security event, and audit logs.

Investigate and respond to security incidents, including forensic investigations.

Design, implement, and manage security hardware and software.
-
Support data protection, access security, and threat mitigation.
-
Collaborate with security and IT teams regarding risks, threats, and system configurations.

Develop and maintain accurate security documentation and procedures.
Required Qualifications:- 3+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years in Security Engineering or Security Analysis.
- MUST have a CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CEH, OSCP, GCIH, or GSEC.

Experience with security monitoring, incident response, log analysis, and forensic investigations.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of data protection and privacy requirements, including GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA.

Strong collaboration and professional judgment.
Preferred Qualifications:-
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Data Science, or a related field preferred. Equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered.
Pay Rate: $55 - $74/hr
