Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a Systems Security Engineer
to join their team!
The ideal candidate will join the firm's Security Operations team and support enterprise information security, data protection, security monitoring, and incident response during the overnight shift.
Position Details:-
Schedule: 11:00 PM6:30 AM Pacific Time

Work Arrangement: Remote/Hybrid; onsite as needed

Locations: Northern and Southern California, Houston, Dallas or Washington DC

Compensation: $55$74/hour

Travel: Up to 10%
Responsibilities:-
Configure, monitor, and respond to security alerts across multiple platforms.

Create and enhance security alerts and detection capabilities.

Analyze and correlatedata loss prevention, security event, and audit logs.

Manage security events and support forensic investigations and incident response.

Design, implement, and manage security hardware and software protecting systems, networks, and data.

Collaborate with Information Security and IT stakeholders regarding security risks, threats, and system configurations.

Develop and maintain accurate documentation of security processes and procedures.
Required Qualifications:-
3+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years in a Security Engineering or Security Analyst role.

Experience with security monitoring, incident response, log analysis, and forensic investigations.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with data protection, privacy, and information security requirements, including GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA.

Strong professional judgment and ability to develop solutions within established compliance frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:-
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred. Equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered.

Certifications include: CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CEH, OSCP, GCIH, or GSEC.
Pay Rate: $55 - $74/hr
