Provide a short description of the Position:
HBITS-08-15022
This position will support cloud support services, such as cloud integration technical assistance, cloud-based analytic and security programs, and training for Dept personnel on the use of cloud-based tools.

Provide a list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate:

• The Systems Architect will design and implement service-oriented architecture, platform as a service, infrastructure as a service and software as a service using IBM DataPower, WSO2 API Manager, and WSO2 Identity Manager.
• The Systems Architect will design and implement secure applications using security APIs, transport and message layer security, encryption and decryption algorithms for data security, SAML, single sign, OAuth, and multi-factor authentication.
• The Systems Architect will be a lead technical architect on projects that require a thorough understanding of systems architecture, engineering, administration, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and preventative maintenance and security procedures.
• The Systems Architect will perform XSLT programming to create custom stylesheets for IBM DataPower, perform application load balancing using Kemp Application delivery controller, and initiate application deployment and monitoring using continuous integration systems and application monitoring tools.
• The Systems Architect will architect, develop, and debug Java applications.
• The Systems Architect will create diagrams and documentation for application and infrastructure architecture.

Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirement, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design.

84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

Position Requested Qualifications (Per Attachment 7, Section 1.2.5)

• 84 months of experience architecting service-oriented architecture, platform as a service, infrastructure as a service and software as a service using IBM DataPower, WSO2 API Manager, and WSO2 Identity Manager.
• 84 months of experience designing secure applications using security APIs, transport and message layer security, encryption, and decryption algorithms for data security, SAML, OAuth, multi-factor authentication
• 84 months of experience as lead technical architect on technical projects designing systems architecture, and managing configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and preventative maintenance and security procedures.
• 36 months of experience with desiging native cloud systems using services in AWS.
  36 months of experience with application deployment and monitoring using continuous integration systems and application monitoring tools.

Authorized user may sign confidentiality forms. May be subject to fingerprinting. Will need State Driver or Non-Driver's identification card for issuance of building access. Confidentiality agreements and network access permission may be required in this position.

Program staff will provide informal user training so that the Candidate can get an understanding of the application from an end user perspective. Mandatory training requirements will be required of consultants to inform of important policies and procedures that affect day-to-day operations and interactions to achieve an overall better workforce and environment.

Consultant will work with staff and transfer knowledge to state staff or their other consultants, including written documentation and the following:

• Conducting technical training sessions.
• Conducting one-on-one technical training.
• Developing programming guidelines / standards.
• Developing coding examples and distributing them to coworkers.
• Conducting code review and critique.
