Replace Power Builder application with .NET solution
System Developer for Power Builder Conversion to .Net for the existing Power Builder Application.
Provide a list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate:
- Work in coordination with a team of developers convert existing PB modules to a modern solution in ASP.net MVC.
- Work with Business Analyst on analysis and logical design.
- Perform unit testing and correct all identified bugs.
- Perform complex VB.Net coding.
- The individual in this position will work under the direction of a Technical Lead, Project Manager & Software Architect. Perform writing of complex stored procedures/triggers in an Oracle database utilizing PL/SQL.
Position Mandatory Qualification
Develops and implements applications and programs for the backend processing systems used in businesses and organizations.
Position Requested Qualifications
- 84 months experience developing N-Tier .net web applications.
- 84 months experience with Developing packages, stored procedures and triggers in Oracle.
- 84 months experience with Extracting Business logic, Business Rules from Oracle Packages and Stored Procedures.
- 60 months experience utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services.
- 36 months experience utilizing JQuery.
- Bachelor's Degree.

Project documentation will be up to date at all times. A weekly review of documentation will be a means of knowledge transfer.
The Systems-Developer may be asked to educate various staff on coding practices, SQL queries & validations, etc.
Written knowledge transfer may be required as needed.
