Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant
Rosemont, IL | Full-Time | Onsite (5 Days/Week)
LHH is working with a well-established law firm in Rosemont is seeking a Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join its collaborative team. This position is available due to the retirement of a long-tenured team member who spent more than a decade with the firm, making this an excellent opportunity for someone seeking stability, meaningful attorney interaction, and long-term career growth.
This role primarily supports three partners while also assisting other attorneys as needed. The practice is focused largely on civil litigation, with additional exposure to commercial and residential real estate matters and municipal law. The firm offers a professional, team-oriented environment with predictable hours, minimal overtime, and a convenient location near restaurants, transportation, and a fitness center.

Key Responsibilities
Provide litigation and administrative support to approximately five attorneys
Draft, revise, proofread, and manage pleadings, motions, correspondence, and legal documents
Prepare and submit electronic filings in state and federal courts using Odyssey eFileIL and PACER
Coordinate filings in Cook County, DuPage County, and other jurisdictions while ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines
Maintain attorney calendars, court dates, case files, and litigation deadlines
Assist with discovery, document review, and case organization
Support commercial and residential real estate transactions as needed
Assist with municipal law and local government matters
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties
Utilize legal software and document management systems to support daily workflow
Qualifications
2+ years of litigation paralegal or legal assistant experience
Strong civil litigation experience required
Recent hands-on experience with Odyssey eFileIL and PACER
Thorough understanding of state and federal court procedures, filing requirements, and litigation deadlines
Ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and take initiative
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Experience with Juris and iManage preferred
Experience with Clio is a plus
Preferred Candidate Profile

Hourly $30-35/hr
