A nationally recognized advocacy organization is seeking a Talent Operations & Recruiting Coordinator to support a fast-paced People & Culture team during a period of significant growth and operational activity.

The Role
The Talent Operations & Recruiting Coordinator will support day-to-day recruiting and HR operations while helping maintain organizational systems, documentation, and process consistency. This person will work across multiple concurrent projects and support initiatives tied to hiring, onboarding, process documentation, systems audits, and employee operations.
Success in this role requires strong organization, follow-through, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple moving pieces in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting Operations & Coordination
- Support recruiting operations including job postings, interview scheduling, candidate tracking, and hiring coordination.
- Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruiting documentation.
- Coordinate candidate communications and support hiring managers throughout the interview process.
- Assist with interview logistics, interview kits, and recruiting process updates.
HR Operations & Administrative Support
- Assist with onboarding coordination, training schedules, welcome communications, and new hire follow-up.
- Support payroll preparation activities, including timecard review and administrative tracking.
- Help maintain personnel documentation, internal trackers, and operational records.
- Assist with HR systems audits and data accuracy reviews.
Process Improvement & Documentation
- Build, organize, and maintain SOPs and internal process documentation.
- Support cleanup and standardization of internal documents and job descriptions.
- Maintain organized digital files and shared documentation systems.
- Assist with process updates across HR and recruiting workflows.
Project & Team Support
- Support ongoing People Operations initiatives, audits, and operational projects.
- Assist with reporting, spreadsheet tracking, and administrative coordination across the team.
- Help ensure projects and deadlines remain on track across multiple concurrent priorities.
What They’re Looking For
Required
- 1–3+ years of HR, recruiting coordination, people operations, or administrative experience.
- Hands-on experience supporting recruiting coordination or HR operations.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems or HR systems.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong Google Workspace / spreadsheet proficiency.
- Ability to work independently, ask thoughtful questions, and operate proactively.
- Clear alignment with the organization’s mission and advocacy work.
Preferred
- Experience within nonprofit, advocacy, or mission-driven organizations.
- Experience documenting processes or building SOPs.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Greenhouse, ADP, Monday.com, or similar systems.
- Exposure to onboarding, audits, or HR compliance support.
