Job Title: TA Mechanical PlannerLocation: Baytown, TXZip Code: 77523Duration:12 MonthPay Rate: $55 /hrKeyword's: #Baytownjobs; #MechanicalPlannerjobs.Start Date: ImmediateJob Description:* Collaborates with production/operation to determine work needed to be performed* Reads and interprets prints and drawings to facilitate the development of detailed job packages* Piping design, Fabrication, QC & installation knowledge.* Scaffold And Insulation estimating experience* Formulate Job plans showing sequence of steps, man-hour requirement, manpower requirements, and any material and equipment needs* Verify Job Plans in the field* Assist in Turnaround scheduling* Supports the TA planning and scheduling lead implementing the Turnaround Premise* Clarification of Job Packages to Contractors when required* Can work as a mechanical construction manager/coordinatorSkills and Qualifications of Candidate: * Minimum - High School diploma or equivalent with 12 years working experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with TA experience; OR Minimum - Associates degree or equivalent with 7 years working experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with TA experience;* 6 years experience in job planning for fixed / stationary equipment and/or piping.* Demonstrated ability to read drawings including P&IDs, isometrics, schematics, etc.* Effective written and oral communication skills* Effective problem solving skills* Demonstrated experience working in collaborative team environment* Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.* Self -motivated, energetic, dependable, honest, and thorough.* Proficient in computer skills (MS Office products)* Knowledgeable with SAP and planning tools.Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
