Table Games Dealer Must have gaming experience - Minimum 2 years experience {excluding Poker rooms} Casino dealers at Victory Casino Cruises are a part of a team. As a team member, we have high expectations. Our dealers are not only limited to table game responsibilities. Must be 18 years of age or older Team member responsibilities are a requirement / agreement of employment. This includes but not limited to the following: -Greeting and De-greeting of casino patrons one hour prior and after shifts as needed. -Table games is responsible of counting their money drop every shift. Dealers are required to be trained and take part in participation, as needed by management. -Casino Dealers are also required to take part in the slot department as needed. Everyone will be expected to take their turn. This is non-negotiable. Duties are but not limited to: Opening of slot machines, emptying funds, & placing in bag. This is referred to as a "SLOT DROP". -Pay winnings or collect losing bets as established by the rules and procedures of a specific game. -Stand behind a gaming table and deal the appropriate number of cards to each player. -Deal cards to house hands, and compare these with players' hands to determine winners, as in black jack. -Conduct gambling games such as dice, roulette, cards, or poker games, following all applicable rules and regulations. -Exchange paper currency for playing chips or coin money. -Check to ensure that all players have placed bets before play begins. -Start and control games and gaming equipment, and announce winning numbers or colors. -Inspect cards and equipment to be used in games to ensure that they are in good condition. -Receive, verify, and record patrons' cash wagers. -Monitoring gambling tables to ensure security of the game/game protection. -Work as part of a team of dealers in games such as of craps or roulette. -Compute amounts of players' wins or losses, or scan winning tickets presented by patrons to calculate the amount of money won. -Open and close cash floats and game tables. -Answer questions about game rules and casino policies. -Teach patrons how to play games. -Refer patrons to gaming cashiers to collect winnings. -Participate in games for gambling establishments to provide the minimum complement of players at a table. -Uncover/cover tables at beginning/end of shift. -Opening and closing of tables per casino procedure.
