Job Title: Table Welder
Job Description
As a Table Welder, you will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to produce precision-cut metal components according to engineering drawings and production specifications. You will set up, program, and monitor laser equipment to ensure clean cuts, proper tolerances, and consistent part quality. Additionally, you will operate press machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts, verifying angles, dimensions, and alignment using measuring tools.
Responsibilities
Operate drill presses to drill, tap, countersink, and machine holes in metal components as required.
Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting to keep equipment running efficiently.
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings to complete jobs accurately and on schedule.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all shop safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Collaborate with fabrication and welding teams to support production flow and meet daily manufacturing goals.
Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced machine shop environment.
Essential Skills
Experience operating laser cutting machines and press machines.
Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
The position is based in a non-climate-controlled fabrication and welding shop. There are two shifts available: the first shift from 6 AM to 3:30 PM and the second shift from 4 PM to 12:30 AM.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
