    Description

    Description:This specific position is Sr. Program Manager for the United States Air Force Air Mobility Command and Air National Guard/Air Force Reserve C-130J Production program. Roles and responsibilities include managing cost, schedule and performance for the program. Acts as primary customer contact for C-130J-30 deliveries as well as coordination of all closing work. Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Ability to develop new business and strategic plans to protect and grow business.

    Must have excellent communication and customer intimacy skills at senior customer and senior company levels of management

    Ability to lead in a functionally aligned organization.

    Ability to develop, maintain, and communicate performance based Earned Value metrics on a monthly basis to senior management.

    Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
