Tactical Buyer

Context
Extension of responsibility: is able to manage independently tactical supplier ("advanced" non-critical suppliers).
Supplier maintenance.
Knows well current and short-term status and results are checked.
From single sourcing to single and dual sourcing of commodities.
Reviews invoicing, investigates and finds resolutions.
Works under regular supervision of Sourcing Leads.
Managing NPI's with Sourcing Leads.

Requirements
Bachelor or Master diploma and/or relevant past experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities
Procurement
Proactively manage requisition to pay process and exceptions by master data maintanance and process standardization.
Supplier Management
Owns tactical suppliers and maintains relationship with them on operational and tactical level. Independent for tactical, under guidance for critical suppliers (short term achievements defined, ad hoc based).
Contract Management
Initiates and negotiates single-event contracts for non critical suppliers with guidence of Sourcing Leads.
Supplier performance
Ad hoc driving improvements to improve KPI's and reporting.
Sourcing
Execution assignments supporting e.g. market investigation/tender support/tender and supplier/ category strategy execution under supervision of Sourcing Leads for tactical suppliers.
Cost Accounting
From analysis to executing action plan under limited guidance of Sourcing Leads for non critical accounts.
Operational Excellence
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in department or at supplier independently.
