    Description

    SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Tactical Coordinator (Change Management) for a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. Candidate will coordinate IT Service Management (ITSM) activities with an emphasis on Change Management, ensuring technical work is planned, communicated, and executed efficiently across multiple teams. This role partners with technical and business stakeholders to improve operational processes, support service delivery, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

    Required Qualifications of the Tactical Coordinator (Change Management):

    • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
    • Five or more years of experience supporting enterprise IT operations or technical service management.
    • Working knowledge of ITIL best practices; ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Experience supporting IT Service Management (ITSM) processes using ServiceNow or a similar platform.
    • Strong experience coordinating work across multiple technical teams and stakeholders.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Microsoft Copilot.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data and identify process improvements.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and business audiences.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

    Preferred Skills/Experience of the Tactical Coordinator (Change Management):

    • Experience supporting Change Advisory Board (CAB) activities.
    • Knowledge of Problem Management, Release Management, or Knowledge Management processes.
    • Experience with reporting, analytics, and workflow optimization.
    • Experience using AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot to improve operational efficiency.

    Responsibilities of the Tactical Coordinator (Change Management):

    • Coordinate Change Management activities and support ITSM processes across multiple technical teams.
    • Review and facilitate change requests while ensuring adherence to established governance and operational procedures.
    • Coordinate infrastructure deployments, maintenance activities, audits, and other planned technical initiatives.
    • Analyze operational metrics and workflow trends to identify opportunities for process improvements.
    • Partner with IT teams to ensure efficient execution of operational activities with minimal business disruption.
    • Communicate project status, risks, and operational updates to technical teams, leadership, and business stakeholders.

    Work Location: Hybrid schedule with onsite work Tuesday through Thursday in Columbia, SC and remote work Monday and Friday.
