Tactical Operations Lead, MPI

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our tactical operations on the MPI team. As a Tactical Operations Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of payment operations, working closely with our partner banks, and providing exceptional support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage fund transfers between accounts, including ACH and wire activity with partner banks
• Research and resolve failed transactions, and manage refunds and reissues
• Provide support for MPI payment reporting and customer-level payment validation
• Support client reconciliation process and manage client escalations and reporting requests
• Act as a liaison between Payment Specialists and the Development team, submitting and tracking development tickets related to MPI payment processing issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, or related field
• For non-college graduates, a minimum of two years of experience working in payment/banking operations
• Previous reconciliation experience
• Strong communication skills
• High level of attention to detail, quality, and effective verbal and written communication skills along with excellent follow-through
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously while successfully meeting established goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptive to frequent process changes, work duties or assignments
• General skillset to perform/navigate on Microsoft
• Experience with Excel
