Overview:
Community First Solutionsseeks a detail-oriented and service-driven Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support our recruitment and onboarding efforts while delivering an exceptional candidate experience from offer acceptance through Day One employment. This critical Human Resources role serves as the bridge between candidate selection and successful onboarding, ensuring all pre-employment requirements, compliance activities, and administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who takes ownership of their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and serves as a positive ambassador for Community First Solutions. In this impactful role, you'll help create meaningful first impressions, support organizational growth, and ensure every candidate experiences our mission, values, and commitment to excellence from the very beginning.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, onsite. No weekends, or holidays.
Pay: Starting at $20.00/HR, based on professional experience.

Responsibilities:
- Has full responsibility for candidate following a verbal offer extension from Talent Acquisition Consultant all the way through Day 1 of employment
- Responsible for acquiring electronic offer acceptance, coordinating Skill Survey administration and completion, scheduling/coordinating all pre-hire appointments and communications.
- Responsible for submitting appropriate pre-employment checks, including licensure, OIG, driving record, verification of education, reference checks, etc. and notifying hiring manager of results. Will work with the appropriate HR staff to coordinate.
- Conducts fingerprinting and maintains fingerprint log. Tracks status and outcomes and escalates stalled screens and questionable outcomes as appropriate.
- Coordinates drug-testing, physical and TB requirements for all new hires.
- Schedules new hires for orientation.
- Reviews finalized new hire paperwork for completeness then follows up on any missing new employee paperwork during and after employee onboarding.
- Enters new employee information into HR systems accurately and timely.
- Updates HR information on employee the employee cell phone app, LMS, and works with IT to create new hire email accounts.
- Creates employee ID badges.
- Completes I-9 form verification including E-Verify data submission within the required timeframe.
- Enters employee status or job changes into HR system.
- Responds to requests for employment verification from other employers or agencies including but not limited to Ohio Dept. of Job and Family Services (ODJFS).
- Performs filing on a consistent and timely basis.
- Maintains employee files accurately and to the standards of the organization.
- Responsible for participating in regulatory file audits.
- Maintains general inventory of Human Resources supplies and orders departmental supplies as needed.
- Provides general administrative support to Human Resources department. Assumes “overflow” responsibilities in other areas of HR if necessary.

Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Licenses or other required certifications: None
Experience: Previous experience in HR experience helpful; at least 1 year in an HR support or administrative support role strongly preferred
Specialized knowledge, skills, or abilities:
- Computer literate with in-depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Employee must be depended upon for their confidentiality and discretion as they will have access/exposure to information and data that is sensitive in nature.
- Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.
- Must be organized and detail oriented. Must have the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
