Job Description:
 
Pay: $30-$32/hour
 
Assignment Length: 4-month contract with potential for extension
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT
Hybrid: Preferred local candidates will work onsite 2 days per week in Mettawa, IL. Remote may be considered for non-local candidates.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate a high volume of virtual and onsite interview schedules for recruiters and hiring teams.
  • Manage complex calendar scheduling across recruiters, hiring managers, executives, and interview panels.
  • Provide exceptional candidate communication throughout the interview process.
  • Deliver a white-glove candidate experience while representing AbbVie professionally.
  • Partner with Executive Assistants, recruiters, HR, hiring managers, and business leaders to ensure seamless interview coordination.
  • Coordinate candidate travel arrangements and reimbursement processes for onsite interviews.
  • Maintain candidate and requisition information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure interview schedules, documentation, and compliance requirements are completed accurately.
  • Confirm interview details with candidates and interview teams prior to scheduled interviews.
  • Participate in team meetings, process improvement initiatives, and assist teammates during high-volume periods.
 
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of Talent Acquisition Coordination, Recruitment Coordination, HR Coordination, or Staffing Coordination experience.
  • Experience supporting high-volume interview scheduling and complex calendar management.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System such as Workday, Taleo, Greenhouse, iCIMS, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, organization, customer service, and follow-up skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience supporting enterprise or biotech/pharmaceutical organizations is highly preferred.
