The Talent Acquisition Lead oversees the entire recruitment cycle, including sourcing, developing recruitment strategies, screening candidates, conducting initial interviews, and managing candidate flow through to final disposition in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for all Balfour Beatty U.S positions.

- Proven ability to build constructive partnerships with hiring managers, business leaders, and HR leaders to source, screen, and secure top talent for open positions.
- Proven ability to develop and utilize industry and professional networks to connect Balfour Beatty with premier talent sources.
- Adept at prioritizing, organizing, and managing a high volume of open positions with the necessary sense of urgency.
- Resourcefulness, resiliency, and a willingness to always learn and share new things.
- Possesses interpersonal savvy and effective verbal communication skills, building trust and credibility with hiring managers, business leaders, HR leaders, and potential candidates.
- Organizationally savvy, with the ability to influence and work effectively with all levels of management.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% as needed for recruiting events, job fairs, and strategic sessions with business and HR leaders.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Possesses professional and clear writing skills with minimal errors
Minimum Requirements
- Associate's degree in a Human Resources or related field, and/or minimum 5 years of talent acquisition experience in a multi-location organization, with expertise in full cycle recruiting.
- Experience working in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Knowledge of OFCCP, EEOC, and AAP guidelines.
- Proven experience in recruiting across multi-state, multi-office organizations.
Preferred Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
- Two or more years of recruitment experience within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with expertise in consultation, customer relationship management, and team leadership.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities, with the capacity to work independently and take initiative.
