    The Center for Disability Services offers hope, innovation and achievement to the people we support.

    For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities.

    We are searching for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to help our company find and retain outstanding employees! You will be entrusted with an ongoing quest to discover talent, build a strong employment brand, and ensure great relationships with both candidates and employees. This is an on-site position, requiring the selected candidate to work at Center Albany locations as part of our Human Resources team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead the daily operations of the Talent Acquisition team, ensuring efficient, consistent, and high-quality recruitment services across the organization.
    • Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate Talent Acquisition staff while fostering a collaborative, accountable, and customer-focused team environment.
    • Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring requisitions are actively managed, hiring timelines are met, and critical positions are filled efficiently.
    • Partner with hiring managers and organizational leaders to provide recruitment guidance, improve hiring practices, and deliver exceptional service.
    • Monitor recruitment metrics, analyze workforce trends, and prepare reports to drive data-informed decisions and continuous improvement.
    • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies, recruitment marketing initiatives, and community partnerships to attract top talent.
    • Identify and implement process improvements, standardize recruiting practices, and optimize Workday and other recruitment tools.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and regulatory employment laws, organizational policies, and recruitment documentation requirements.
    • Collaborate with Human Resources and cross-functional departments to support organizational staffing priorities, onboarding, and workforce initiatives.
    • Lead and participate in Talent Acquisition projects, policy development, and other initiatives that enhance operational excellence and organizational growth.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Strong leadership and team development capabilities
    • Data-driven decision making
    • Expertise in recruitment marketing, sourcing strategies, and workforce planning
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required
    • Master’s degree or HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred     

    Experience:

    • Demonstrated experience utilizing Workday Recruiting is required; must possess advanced knowledge of Workday recruiting workflows, requisition management, candidate management, reporting, business processes, and recruiting best practices.
    • 3–5+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition or HR required
    • 1-2+ years in a leadership role required

    Compensation Range:

    $67,479.61 - $74,009.89

    For over 75 years, the Center for Disability Services has been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities.

    With more than 80 locations throughout 15 counties, we annually provide programs and services to over 12,000 individuals, ranging from infants to senior citizens, and their families. We provide services for over 300 different diagnoses of disabilities included Cerebral Palsy, developmental disabilities, Multiple Sclerosis, Autism Spectrum disorders, epilepsy, spina bifida, TBI and Down syndrome.

    Our wide range of services under a single umbrella allows us to provide a seamless continuum of care as the people we support age or as their needs change. From intensive medical care to residential services, to dental care to mental health, the individuals we support can have it all managed through the Center.

    The Center for Disability Services, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization provides additional services through the Down Syndrome Aim High Resource Center, and our affiliates: Prospect Center in Queensbury and St. Margaret’s Center in Albany.
