Job Title: Recruiting Manager

Position Summary
The Recruiting Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the recruiting department to ensure the organization's hiring needs are consistently met with high-quality candidates. This role manages full-cycle recruiting for administrative, management, and outsourced employee roles while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. The Recruiting Manager plays a critical role in maintaining a smooth, efficient, and compliant hiring process that supports organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting Leadership & Oversight
• Lead, manage, and support the recruiting team • Oversee daily recruiting operations and workflows • Establish hiring priorities, timelines, and staffing plans • Ensure recruiting goals and deadlines are consistently met
Full-Cycle Recruiting
• Oversee recruitment for administrative, management, and outsourced roles • Ensure internal staffing needs are filled timely with qualified candidates • Manage and monitor sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer processes • Partner with department leaders to understand hiring needs and role requirements
Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure all hiring practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws • Maintain compliance with internal policies, documentation, and onboarding requirements • Ensure accurate and timely completion of hiring and onboarding paperwork • Support audits and compliance reviews related to recruiting and hiring
Process Improvement & Efficiency
• Ensure the hiring process runs smoothly and consistently • Identify gaps and implement improvements to recruiting procedures • Maintain and optimize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools • Reduce time-to-fill while maintaining quality-of-hire standards
Performance Tracking & Reporting
• Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate quality, and hiring volume • Report recruiting progress and challenges to HR leadership • Ensure recruiting department performance aligns with organizational goals
Collaboration & Communication
• Collaborate closely with HR, operations, and leadership teams • Serve as the primary point of contact for recruiting-related matters • Promote a positive candidate experience and employer brand
Qualifications
Required
• 5+ years of recruiting experience, including leadership or management experience • Strong understanding of employment laws and hiring compliance • Experience recruiting administrative, management, and outsourced roles • Proven ability to meet hiring goals in fast-paced environments • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred
• Experience managing remote recruiting teams • Experience with ATS and HRIS systems • Background in multi-site or high-volume hiring • HR or recruiting certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.)
