At XYZ Reality, we’ve created the world’s first engineering-grade Augmented Reality solution for construction. Our product, The Atom, is used on major projects worldwide to bring designs to life on-site and help teams build more accurately, efficiently and with fewer mistakes.

As a Series B business scaling across the US and internationally, we’re looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team in Austin and play a key role in building the talent behind our growth.

The Role

You’ll own end-to-end recruitment across our US Project Delivery organisation, with an initial focus on hiring Site and Field Engineers supporting major construction and Data Centre projects.

This is a hands-on sourcing role. You’ll go beyond job boards to identify and engage hard-to-reach talent through direct sourcing, market mapping, referrals, local networks and creative sourcing channels.

Working closely with hiring managers and business leaders, you’ll take ownership of your searches, provide market insight and build proactive talent pipelines as we continue to scale across the US.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own end-to-end recruitment for Site Engineers, Field Engineers and wider Project Delivery roles across the US.

• Proactively identify and engage passive construction and engineering talent.

• Build targeted regional talent pipelines around current and future project locations.

• Partner with hiring managers to define requirements, challenge assumptions and provide talent market insight.

• Conduct candidate screening and manage candidates through the recruitment process.

• Manage multiple searches across different US locations while maintaining pace and quality.

• Develop new sourcing channels, networks and referral opportunities to reach field-based engineering talent.

• Maintain accurate recruitment activity and candidate data within the Ashby ATS.

• Help strengthen our direct sourcing capability and reduce reliance on external agencies.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment.

• Proven experience recruiting within the construction industry is essential.

• Direct experience recruiting Site Engineers, Field Engineers or comparable field-based construction/engineering talent.

• Strong understanding of how and where to find construction talent across the US.

• Excellent direct sourcing and market-mapping skills, with experience engaging passive candidates.

• Experience managing multiple requisitions across different locations simultaneously.

• Strong hiring manager partnering skills and the confidence to advise, influence and challenge.

• Full lifecycle recruitment experience, from intake and sourcing through to offer and close.

• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where priorities evolve quickly.

• Based in or within commuting distance of Austin, Texas, and able to work from our Austin office 3 days per week.
