Position: Recruiter, Talent Acquisition
Location: Fort Worth, Texas 76155 near DFW airport 
Duration: Contract

Job Overview:
In this highly visible role on the Operations Talent Acquisition team, you will play an integral part in ensuring airport roles are staffed for operational readiness. You will bring your recruitment expertise to devise and execute strategic staffing plans to hire talented team members. This position includes traveling to hiring events at domestic airport locations, where on-the-spot job offers are often made. You will be part of a broader Talent Acquisition team that provides the talent necessary to fuel the organization in achieving its goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure roles are staffed for operational readiness.
  • Partner with multiple hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
  • Travel to domestic locations to attend hiring events multiple times a month, including some weekends.
  • Conduct thorough intake sessions to clarify staffing needs and ensure job descriptions reflect accurate knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Proactively source talent using job boards, social media, and networking resources.
  • Act as a resource to hiring managers on conducting behavioral interviews and facilitate the selection process to ensure effective and legal interviewing practices.
  • Manage a positive internal and external applicant experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Influence the overall hiring process to achieve timeliness and agreements.
  • Provide hiring managers with accurate and timely updates on applicant activity, track talent acquisition metrics, and report trends and issues to leadership with recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date applicant records in the applicant tracking system for accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors involved in hiring to provide guidance and clarification on union contracts, pay scales, requisition statuses, and process approvals.
  • Conduct recurrent business calls with leaders to discuss high-volume hiring strategies and updates.
  • Maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with Legal, Labor teams, and other stakeholders in the recruiting process.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training.
    • At least 2 years of recent experience in a recruiting function.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • High-volume recruiting experience, especially in a unionized environment.
    • Experience conducting competency-based interviews.
    • Reporting experience related to Talent Acquisition performance and metrics.
    • Experience with SuccessFactors or other large enterprise ATS systems (e.g., Taleo, iCIMS).
    • Experience collaborating with RPO partners.
    • Experience organizing and conducting hiring events.
    • Airline industry experience.
  • Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:
    • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to establish credibility and partner with leaders to identify talent gaps, needs, risks, and action plans.
    • Strong customer orientation and influencing skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Knowledge of employment law and corporate recruitment practices.
    • Proven leadership skills.
    • Strategic, creative, and innovative thinking skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
    • Knowledge of workforce planning, forecasting, and identifying specific needs, skills, and behaviors is a plus.

Pay Range: $20- $25

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
