Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist (Part-Time)

Part- Time: Approximately 25 hours per week, during standard business hours

Location: Remote with occasional travel to Avient World Headquarters in Avon Lake, Ohio

Avient is seeking an experienced, high-performing Talent Acquisition Sourcer to identify and engage passive talent for critical and hard-to-fill roles across the United States and Canada. This part-time role operates as a strategic sourcing partner to Talent Acquisition, translating business needs into targeted search strategies, market insights, and sustainable talent pipelines.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on sourcing expert who is comfortable working independently, advising Talent Acquisition partners, and using advanced research, outreach, and talent intelligence techniques to reach specialized candidates. The position will support a range of professional, technical, engineering, manufacturing, operations, information technology, scientific, sales, and leadership needs.Qualifications

Education and Experience

• 3+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience for salaried roles, with significant responsibility for proactive sourcing and passive-candidate engagement required.
• Advanced proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Boolean search, X-ray search, social sourcing, talent mapping, and targeted research techniques required.
• Experience creating and managing talent pools, outreach campaigns, and candidate pipelines within an applicant tracking system or recruitment CRM required.
• Experience translating a complex hiring need into a clear target profile and consultative sourcing strategy required.
• Experience using sourcing metrics, funnel conversion data, and market insights to guide decisions and adjust strategy required.
• Oracle Recruiting Cloud experience preferred.
• Experience sourcing for a multi-site manufacturing, materials, chemical, industrial, or similar technical organization preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
