This position is a member of Human Resources Recruitment and HR team supporting talent acquisition initiatives across all locations. This role is involved in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, phone interviewing, onboarding, and building strong candidate pipelines. This position strongly partners with hiring managers and leadership teams to understand workforce needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, and fill positions efficiently.

 

This is a full-time, in-person role based out of our Corporate/Ballston Spa location. 

 

Essential Duties

• Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements. Pre-screen candidates as requested by Company managers.  Forward qualified candidates to managers, accordingly.
• Communicate with managers regularly regarding quality of candidates and effectiveness of recruiting methods.
• Partner with Recruitment Team to develop and maintain an online recruiting presence using a diverse mix of recruiting tools and websites.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition Manager to develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need to ensure an adequate pipeline of candidates to fuel Company growth.
• Research and recommend new sources for recruiting.
• Identify vacancies for the branches/departments assigned, partners with Branch Leadership, Recruitment Team, and Talent Acquisition Manager for recommendations to implement best recruitment approach to fill them.
• Fill in when necessary to post open positions internally, in print advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate resources.
• Assist in analyzing and documenting successful recruiting resources.
• Respond to inquiries from prospective candidates. Send appropriate correspondence to applicants in a timely manner.
• Schedule interviews with managers and assist in interviewing and selecting employees as needed.
• Assist in maintenance of an application database/tracking system that retains and organizes applications/resumes for one year.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local colleges/universities, unemployment offices, etc. Set up informational booths at local colleges.
• Attend job fairs as well as organize and lead on-site job fairs.
• Checks in with new hires throughout their first week/month/bi-annually/annually to ensure everything is going smoothly
• Other duties may be assigned

 

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of (2) two years’ recruiting or talent acquisition experience
• Experience working on items requires a strong need for accuracy
• Strong personal relationship skills
• Highly organized and able to manage time, projects and deadlines well
