Job Description

Launch your career in Talent Acquisition while helping connect top talent with exciting opportunities at W. R. Grace. This position supports recruitment efforts for full-time employees across our Integrated Supply Chain, Corporate, and other business functions. Working closely with Senior Talent Acquisition Specialists, Hiring Managers, Human Resources Business Partners, and other stakeholders, the role is responsible for coordinating candidate interviews, supporting new hire onboarding, and providing administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also assist with attracting, recruiting, sourcing, hiring, and onboarding top talent while supporting full-cycle recruiting activities.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist reports to the Manager, Talent Acquisition. Up to 5% travel may be required. This role is based at our Columbia, MD headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition function, including requisition management, documentation, data maintenance, and process coordination.
  • Coordinate candidate interviews, including scheduling, logistics, communication with candidates and interview teams, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Identify, attract, and recruit experienced professionals for roles within chemical manufacturing, Integrated Supply Chain, business lines, and corporate functions. Manage sourcing strategies, candidate development, and full-cycle recruitment activities.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to develop and implement recruiting strategies aligned with business priorities and workforce planning objectives.
  • Consult with stakeholders on best practices, market trends, and talent acquisition strategies to drive successful hiring outcomes.
  • Actively manage candidate pipelines and engagement throughout the recruitment process while participating in interview and selection activities.
  • Lead offer preparation, presentation, and candidate negotiations.
  • Support onboarding activities for new hires by coordinating pre-employment requirements, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Ensure all requisition and candidate activity is accurately captured and maintained within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Stay informed of industry trends, labor market intelligence, and innovative recruiting techniques to attract and retain top talent in a competitive market.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, quality, and effectiveness of recruiting processes and practices.
  • Participate in talent acquisition, talent management, and broader HR projects and initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of talent acquisition, recruiting coordination, HR, or related administrative assistant experience in a professional corporate environment.
  • Experience coordinating interviews, onboarding activities, reporting, and recruitment administration.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), such as SAP SuccessFactors or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

  • Administrative Support – Experience providing administrative support, including scheduling, maintaining records, coordinating activities, managing correspondence, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Candidate & Customer Service Support – Experience providing professional support to candidates, customers, clients, or internal stakeholders while delivering responsive and high-quality service.
  • Data Management & Record Accuracy – Experience maintaining accurate records, entering, and auditing data, tracking information, and following established procedures and documentation standards.
  • High-Volume Work Coordination – Experience managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Recruitment, HR, or Talent Acquisition Exposure – Previous work, internship, volunteer, or educational experience supporting recruiting, human resources, staffing, onboarding, or related employment activities.
