ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: List all essential job duties.

Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
Performs job posting and advertisement processes.
Building relationships with key organizations, bodies, and institutes (like HRA, Colleges, Workforce, community boards, etc.)
Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
Determines whether the candidate is a good fit for each position.
Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
Management and support for job fairs and recruitment events. Set up, organize, confirm candidates, and be responsible for all logistics. Ensure hiring managers are available and present from start to finish on the day of the event.
Reviews new hire files to ensure completeness of files.
Gathers any information that is missing and/or incomplete items to ensure that the file is complete. A new hire’s file should be complete within 3 months from the date they start working.
Participate in special projects as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Excellent leadership skills.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Associates Degree plus three (2) years of Human Resources or administrative experience; or Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of above experience; or
Master's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
Human Resources certification preferred.
