    Job Description

    Job Summary:

    The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for the assessment and recruitment of assigned open positions through in-depth analysis of job skills and qualifications. The Talent Acquisition Specialist provides the full range of recruiting and talent acquisition support to the business including sourcing and selection of qualified candidates for the assigned internal group.

    Summary of Duties:

    • Partners with hiring managers to identify, evaluate required duties and responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully complete the job.
    • Manages requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
    • Markets open positions through multiple channels to attract qualified candidates.
    • Develops and maintains relationships with candidates through the selection process.
    • Establishes employer brand as the first point of contact with candidates
    • Ensures candidates in process meet the qualifications for the position prior to presentation to hiring manager.
    • Partners with hiring manager providing consultative and advisory recruiting strategy including market trends, candidate assessments, candidate challenges, time lines, interview schedules/conflicts, etc.). Provides continuous networking with internal and external sources to identify potential candidates.
    • Partners with compensation to identify appropriate salary offers.
    • Consults/advises hiring manager, supervisor, HR, and candidates regularly on the status of the open position.
    • Builds applicant sources through an understanding of organizational needs and appropriate sourcing methods.
    • Follows company policies and reinforces any/all policies as well as local, state or national regulations with managers; recommends new procedures, and/or conducts training when necessary.
    • Updates and maintains necessary KPIs such as time to fill, quality of hire, and costing data
    • May be engaged in projects such as benchmarking, university relations, employer branding, or related.

    Job Requirements

    Education: Bachelors degree

    Experience: 5+ years of experience recruiting for positions throughout an organization; 2+ years of technical recruiting experience

    Computer Skills:

    • Strong knowledge and proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Moderate experience working with a modern Applicant Tracking System
    • Demonstrable sourcing success with ability to convert passive talent to an applicant

    Other Skills:

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated skills within a recruiting environment managing complex client and candidate relationships.
    • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with hiring managers.
    • Familiarity with employment policies and procedures & federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
    • Sound knowledge of the principles of recruitment and classification of job roles.
    • Demonstrated ability to support and lead multiple projects and assignments with attention to detail.
    • Problem solving, well organized, detailed oriented and accurate.
    • Passive candidate sourcing experience

    Additional Preferred Skills: (not required)

    • Experience recruiting for engineering roles within the Aviation/Aerospace Industry
    • Recruiting or Human Resources certification
