About the Role
We are seeking a highly results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for roles across HARMAN Automotive. This individual will act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers globally, leveraging deep recruiting expertise and a consultative approach to deliver top talent while driving an exceptional candidate experience.
What You Will Do
- Lead full life cycle recruitment for a variety of roles (e.g., engineering, product management, digital, procurement) within HARMAN Corporate and the Automotive Division.
- Partner with global hiring managers to create and drive effective hiring strategies.
- Drive a skills-first approach to guide targeted sourcing, assessment and candidate selection.
- Act as a talent advisor, providing market insights, talent trends, and guidance on best practices throughout the hiring process.
- Drive recruitment delivery using a strategic, project management approach, ensuring timely progress, clear communication, and stakeholder alignment.
- Execute sourcing strategies using multiple channels (job boards, networking, referrals, social platforms, etc.) to build strong candidate pipelines.
- Design and execute structured assessment and interview strategies that enable informed hiring decisions while delivering a positive and engaging candidate experience.
- Ensure adherence to employment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment lifecycle while maintaining compliant records and ensuring data integrity.
- Deliver a positive and engaging candidate experience, maintaining clear communication and professionalism at all stages.
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Chat GPT) to streamline daily tasks, enhance sourcing, improve communication, and increase overall efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate and improve recruiting strategies to drive optimal hiring outcomes.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, including experience recruiting technical roles in engineering or related hard-to-fill niche roles (engineering, digital, product management)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience developing and executing targeted sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and build relationships with passive talent pipelines
- Proven ability to translate complex job requirements into actionable recruiting strategies.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple requisitions and stakeholders
- Experience using enterprise ATS platforms (e.g., Workday, Avature, or similar).
- Solid understanding of employment laws, compliance requirements, and recruiting best practices.
- Experience acting as a consultative partner or advisor to hiring managers.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze recruiting metrics and drive continuous improvement.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Knowledge of global recruiting practices and working across multiple regions.
- Experience recruiting within the Automotive industry
- Familiarity with AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot or other automation technologies, to enhance recruiting workflows is strongly preferred.
